Meanwhile, Group F fixtures see defending champions Ivory Coast begin their title defense against Mozambique at Stade de Marrakech. Historically, the sides have met four times, with Ivory Coast winning twice and the other two matches ending in draws, leaving Mozambique still in search of their first-ever victory against the reigning champions.

The day’s action concludes with a compelling Group F encounter between Cameroon and Gabon at Stade d’Agadir. The two Central African rivals have clashed seven times in the past, with Cameroon emerging victorious four times, Gabon securing two wins, and one match ending in a draw, setting the stage for another competitive showdown.
